E-resources for Russian studies: Izvestija and Pravda Digital Archives

The Slavonic Library of the National Library has obtained the user license for the electronic databases of the two leading newspapers - Pravda and Izvestija- in the Soviet Union. Both digital archives offer full-image PDFs searchable in Cyrillic and transliteration.

These resources are restricted to Helsinki University students, faculty, staff and local users in the National Library. The university staff and students may also use the electronic materials remotely outside the university network via Helsinki University Nelli Portal. Non-Helsinki University users can use e-resources in National library by getting a guest authentication account from staff at library information desks.
