The Von Wright Collection
In August of 2002, Academician Georg Henrik von Wright (1916-2003) donated his scientific home library and correspondence to the Helsinki University Library. The library contains 2,111 titles of philosophical literature. Spanning a period of over 70 years, the correspondence consists of nearly 16,000 letters and postcards from 1,871 persons. The correspondence, conducted in the Finnish, Swedish, English and German languages, also contains a few copies of von Wright's own letters.
