Catalogue of Microfilmed Maps up to 1809
The oldest maps in the National Collection, i.e., the maps printed before 1810, have been filmed on roll film (Mf A228). The roll can be viewed on reader machines in the Reading Room. There also some facsimile editions of old maps, copies of original maps and maps drawn later but which illustrate the era before 1810. The maps are organised according to field-specific sections of the maps collection.
Russian names have been transliterated in accordance with the ISO standard.
The catalogue contains an index of person and map names which refer to the localities in the maps.
