The Caucasica Collection
The collection consists of the literature of the Russian Muslims in Dagestan printed in Russia between 1905 and 1911. The Library received the books as deposit copies during the Russian era. The collection is small (40 titles) but very valuable and rare.
The Caucasica Collection, together with the collections Arabica, Persica and Turcica, is an important part of the Islamic literature printed in Russia.
The material is studied in the Special Reading Room in Fabiania.
