Brummeriana
The National Library of Finland has purchased the Brummeriana from Professor Markus Brummer-Korvenkontio, who compiled the extensive collection of children's literature. Assembled according to bibliographic principles, this international library of children's literature contains over 20,000 titles ranging from the early 1500s to the present day. The collection has been organised systematically, with language serving as the primary categorising principle; within each language the books' organisation is chronological. Fennica children's literature forms its own entity.
