Maps
To be deposited as legal deposit copies:
- All maps printed in Finland
- Maps printed abroad, but intended for distribution in Finland.
Six (6) copies of each map must be submitted.
Small size, limited relevance or a small print run do not remove the submission requirement.
However, no legal deposit copies are required of maps that are
- Produced only for internal and local use without public distribution.
Maps to be archived as legal deposit copies must not be folded. The maps must be sent unfolded even when actual sales and distribution copies are folded. Large maps can be sent in a protective tube or rolled around a tube; smaller maps (A3 and smaller) may be sent with other material.
Posters
Legal deposit copies of posters must be submitted. As posters to be archived as legal deposit copies must not be folded, large posters may be sent rolled in or around a protective tube.
Two (2) copies of each poster must be submitted.
