Research Library Statistics Database
In Finland there are some 700 research libraries. About 100 of them are represented in the Finnish Research Library Statistics developed and maintained by the National Library. It contains statistical information about all university libraries, polythecnic libraries and ca twenty special libraries. The libraries participate voluntarily. Since 2002 the statistics have been published annually in three languages (Finnish, Swedish, English) in a Research Library Statistics Database. Finnish Research Library Statistics follows the international ISO 2789 library standard.
