Microfilm services
The National Library’s Centre for Preservation and Digitisation produces copies of microfilmed public domain publications. Copies can be either positive (black text on a light background) or negative (light text on a dark background). The lifespan of a silver type film under the correct storing conditions is a minimum of 500 years. The films are sent to private customers using COD (Cash on Delivery).
You can place the order by mail or email. The following information must be included in the order:
- Name of the customer
- Billing address
- Title of the publication in question
- The identification numbers and amount of the microfilm to be copied
