Main Projects

The joint projects that the university libraries have initiated are an important part of the operations of the Council. The latest of these projects is the joint project on the research needs of the university libraries conducted in cooperation between the departments of information studies and the university libraries. In recent years, a competence map, collection map, a curriculum plan for information literacy, a funding survey and a quality and impact assessment project have been initiated. Currently the university libraries are investigating options for obtaining funding for a survey to help in acquiring equipment that would allow the university libraries to develop their information and communication environment.
