Duties of the Board
A decree provides for the mandate of the Board of the National Library.
The Board presents a proposal to the University of Helsinki for the regulations and budget of the National Library. The Board also confirms the Library’s action and financial plan, submits a proposal to the Chancellor on the appointment of the Library director, and makes other far-reaching decisions about the Library’s operations.
