Bring your gardening gloves and learn about the joys of cultivating useful plants. Promised are tips, inspiration and maybe some tasting. Also spinning demonstrations, plant dyeing, food preparation for large groups, tuning, and handicrafts. Book recycling is also a part of the theme; bring and take a book!

What does age mean to people of different ages? In what kinds of daily situations do age and one’s belonging to certain age brackets play key roles? The results of diary-based research will also be presented. Introducers: Ph.D., Senior Researcher Marja Saarenheimo and Professor Pirjo Nikander. The event is being organized in cooperation with The Central Union for the Welfare of the Aged’s Life Course and Generations project, and the Palmenia Centre for Continuing Education.
