Index to Theses

The National library has obtained the user license to Index to Theses-database.
Index to Theses contains a reference to all approved doctoral theses from England and Ireland since 1716.
In addition to references there are also abstracts of the theses from 1970 onward.
Some of the theses can also be obtained in full text. In connection with the references is a link button ‘How to obtain full text’ which enables the localization of the theses in the English and Irish databanks.
Index to Theses can be used via Nelli-portal at the National Library and all other Helsinki university libraries.
From Nelli-portal the Index to Theses can be found for example with the name “Find and browse data”-search or via express link group: dissertations/doctoral theses.
