Rare Books

The Library's rare and valuable books and periodicals are placed in a special collection for rare books. There are about 800 volumes in the collection, and the books are valuable because they have rare illustrations, bindings or provenances, or are important from a history of learning or scholarly point of view. The Library has acquired the books either through donations or purchase.
