The Aleksandra Gripenberg Collection
The library, assembled by Aleksandra Gripenberg (1857-1913), a pioneer in the women's rights movement in Finland, was obtained as a bequest. Besides its early examples of Finnish feminist literature, the 300-book collection also includes leaflets, annual volumes of magazines and separate copies of magazines and newspapers.
