Changing an ISSN

You can check in the Fennica database whether your publication already has an ISSN.
FENNICA

A new ISSN is needed if

  • The title of the publication changes
  • It is published in another language in its entirety
  • It is published in another physical format, for example online or on CD-ROM

If the publication ceases to be published, the ISSN centre should be notified so that cataloging records can be updated accordingly.
