Municipal Publications

Deposit copies should be sent of

  • Municipal serial publications
  • Municipal reports, accounts, budgets, plans, and other annual publications
  • Printed work group reports
  • Plans related to area planning
  • Regulations and reports, if published separately
  • Exhibition, museum, library and other brochures and guides
  • Agendas and minutes of local councils and goverments, if they are published in printed series
  • Staff and information bulletins

These are not subject to deposit

  • Products that contain only minor information in text or image (e.g., letter paper, forms, tickets, visiting cards)
  • Materials produced for internal use and not intended for distribution to the public (e.g., internal work group reports, plans, agendas, and minutes, staff wall newpapers)

Who should send the deposits?

The deposit copies of a printed municipal publication should be sent by the printing office. It is the municipality's responsibility to send deposits of the publications that are produced by the municipal authorities themselves.
