The Finnish ISIL Agency
Member bodies of ISO implementing the International Standard Identifier for Libraries and Related Organizations (ISIL) are responsible for the assignment of identifiers for libraries and related organisations within their borders. At the national level, the ISIL structure is administered by appropriate national agencies that are registered with the ISIL Registration Authority.
The Finnish ISIL Agency is the National Library of Finland.

ISIL codes of Finnish libraries
In principle the ISIL code of a Finnish library is the Union Catalogue code preceeded by the country code prefix FI-. However, the Scandinavian characters are normalised as follows: ä, å > a and ö > o.
Example:
The ISIL code for Ekonomiska biblioteket vid Åbo Akademi is
ISIL FI-Ah = country code FI and Union Catalogue code Åh (Å without the ring).
A searchable database of the ISIL codes with contact and other information on the libraries is under construction.
