Free access to the Linnea Union Catalogues in 2011
Searching the Linnea Union Catalogues (LINDA and ARTO) is free of charge in 2011. Copy cataloguing and access to the Elektra materials, however, are still subject to a fee.

Copy cataloguing
Finnish public libraries and libraries of universities of applied sciences have a license to copy MARC records from Linnea Union Catalogues. In addition, union catalogue data producers have a right to copy cataloguing based on the producer contracts. Libraries involved in the SVUC Agreement have the right to copy records from LINDA. Others need a separate Subscriber Agreement. Access is based on IP addresses.
