New: search service for agents

The National Library search service has a new feature Agent Search. With Agent Search you can find information about persons and corporate bodies associated with Finnish publications. You can search for publications, variant names (abbreviations, different name forms and transliterations) and ISNIs related to a specific agent.

You can access the Agent Search through the link underneath the search bar.

The search results page presents basic information of the Agents’ roles and years along with the number of titles where they are catalogued as the author or a topic.

The agent record has more specific information on all name forms, ISNI-number etc.

The data is also put to use in the normal title search. The small character icon beside the title indicates that the author has an agent record available.
