Themed collections in the Manuscript Collection

Collection description

Some materials of the Manuscript Collection is gathered under a theme to small collections and collection catalogues assisting in information retrieval. Themed collections contain various materials from various fields and periods of time. Many materials are especially significant with regard to history of learning. Themed materials include almanacs with notes, various letter collections (e.g. parchment letter collections), autograph collections, hymn books, sermons and academic theses as well as opponent copies of doctoral theses. There are lectures and theses from the time of the Royal Academy of Turku. The collection also includes religious tracts by Ostrobothnian mystics.
